If I were a teacher how would I use a blog

If I were a teacher I would use a blog to teach of course. I would develop a lesson using the weekly vocabulary words. On Day One the students would have to first define the vocabulary words. On Day Two the students would have to develop sentences using the vocabulary words. The class will correct the sentences as needed. On Day Three the students would create a paragraph using the vocabulary words. On Day Four the students would read their paragraphs for the class in the classroom. The class would make suggestions and corrections to the paragraphs. On Day Five the students would continue the assignment from Day Four if it had not been completed. On Day Six the students would have to find education magazines or newspaper articles online where the vocabulary words are found. On Day Seven the students would have to listen to a classical composition and write a short summary of how it sounded by using the vocabulary words.

My Creation

Today I created my first blog. I was shocked that It was so easy to setup. It took me less than five minutes. I'm always online but Ive never thought about blogging before now. I have to admit that at first I was a little intimidated by blogging. I know now that there was nothing to it. I'm glad that it was a requirement for my class. If it had not been an assignment I may have never had this experience.
